It says my page is live, but no one can see it!

Hello,

When I'm logged in to my Smack Jeeves account, it says my page updated as it was scheduled to on Saturday. However, when I'm logged out, or when anyone else visits the page, there is no "next" button on the previous page, and it's still registering that there's only 7 pages, instead of 8. I copied the URL of the new page that I can see on my account, and people could access that-- but when they go back a page, there's again no next button. So the page is public but for some reason it's not being linked to by the site.

On the profile page of the site, logged in or out, it shows the comic image under "latest comics", but again there's no direct link to the page from the previous comic, archives, or 'latest comic' button.

I checked everything-- the release date, file format, and file size are all correct, and all similar to what I've been doing for a few weeks now with no issues. What's going on and how do I fix it?

You had it update LAST saturday or the coming saturday?

Last Saturday, the 25th.

And it's still not coming up? So it's not this page?

No. That's the page from last week

Ah, I think I got it. The latest page you submitted was submitted as an unchaptered page. If it's going into chapter 1 of your story, make a chapter one group in your chapter settings and then place it after the prologue group. Then just add the page into that group and it should work.

You're looking at "Mace Cover Page", which is the page in question

That's the weird thing. When you're on the actual page itself, it doesn't list as being in a chapter when you open the drop down list. Looming at your code, the newest chapter is not labeled as being in the drop box setting either. You didn't per chance mess with any of the code did you? Otherwise I would say try deleting the chapter 1 you have up and resubmitting it. It'll be a bit of a hassle but that is the only solution I can think of as of now.

I have to drive home real quick so I'll recheck what happens when I get there, keep me updated.

I've messed with the code, but nothing serious-- just changes to the background and such. Nothing that would've affected the chapters.

But-- good news! I just re-did the chapter and that seems to have worked! So I have no idea what happened, but it is fixed now. Thanks so much for your help!

Ah! Good! I'm guessing something just might have went screwy when you put it up the first time, which is why I suggested redoing it. Could have just been a simple bug, a minor quibble. At least it works now!
