If it's the back, then the left foot needs to be drawn so that it looks more like the back of a foot, maybe rotated a bit, the other foot needs to be positioned more naturally. The right hand needs to be redrawn with a reference.
In both cases I think the head should be turned a bit in the appropriate direction to define it a bit better.
it's the back......i honestly don't get how you can't tell.
true, the foot is wonky because feet are just evil parts of nature, but she's looking to the left. her body is turned more along the lines of a 3/4 rather than completely at her back, along with her leg because she's holding something heavy (you just can't see it here. that part isn't colored yet haha XD). the foot's probably the confusing part, since, like i said, feet are evil. XD lol
the stance itself is a modified dance stance, from ballet (don't ask me what it's called, but my niece has done it for her class). the right foot is meant to be in that position.
i'm not completely defending myself here because i know i'm not the greatest artist in the world, but what do you mean "to define it?" the right hand had a reference, btw. i don't see what's wrong with that in particular. i mean, i'm not ridiculing your critique, but what do you mean?
