Too bad, he was killed in a massive explosion which caused death and left no survivors alive on the obliterated wrecks.

I actually think Amon's death scene was the best part of the finale. But that's just me.

Yes, but I still wonder how did that explosion work. I assume it's the pressure in the gas tank when the gas set on fire, causing the fire to break out in a massive boom. (Yeah, I never cared much about physics in school- I only take the course to get the credit)

Spark plugs use electricity to ignite gas in an engine. Gas then combusts to push the cylinder.

Now think of the whole tank of gasoline combusting at once.

Just because the boat blew up doesn't mean that Amon died...

I wondered more about how everyone else in the show didn't know about the boat blowing up thing. Wouldn't they always wonder if he'll come back? :/

There's only so much a group can do about a threat that no longer exists 8U

They'll be waiting for a dead man to come back. Always. But he never will. And then Sanity Slippage! It'll be just like My Little Pony!

All right, season 2 will soon be here. Don't know when, but...eventually.

So, topic of the moment: What would you like to see in season 2?

My list:
1) Less emphasis on the romance/shipping. I think that really took a toll on the series. I don't care about who is hooking up with who--I just want all of the characters to continue kicking ass and taking names.
2) Focus on development on characters who got shafted last season.
3) I think this has already been confirmed, but more of a look into Korra's spiritual Avatar side. Visits to the Spirit World too.
4) Toph's husband. I need to know who he was. I NEED TO.

I really hope Toph's husband doesn't become like a Zuko's mom scenario. I'm curious too. :7

They'll tell us...SOMEDAY!

Need I remind you that this is called Book 2: Spirits?

Also, it has both Tenzin's brother and sister (YAY BUMI RETURNS) and it has Korra's uncle and 2 cousins. The latter just came off of a bus.

I didn't know the Book name, so good to see that will happen.

I already knew this, but what worries me is with all of these new characters coming into the mix, the ones that lost a hefty amount of character development last season may still be falling behind during this one. I guess we'll have to wait and see.

The only character development worth worrying about is Meelo not using his stupid fart bending.
