The finale sort of tied up all the loose ends: Korra got her bending back, Amon and Tarlok are dead(?), and Republic City is saved. I may or may not have answered my own question...
There's still the "Bendism" issue, but I'm not too sure how far you can stretch that. Amon could still be alive, but his influence shrunk to zero now that he's been exposed. So what's next?
Amin becomes a zombie and rises back to get revenge and eat korra's brain out lol

That's just what I thought. Iroh sounds like a teenaged kid to me. (I tried reconciling it during the finale, but... I still found it a little odd) hmm... also, is it just me, or does he look like Superman? And now when I mention Iroh or General Iroh, no one will know which I'm talking about, or vice versa. T_T
Sees several posts about confusing relationship stuff, then:
Falconer wrote:I like all the characters, but I think the relationship thing was just developed too fast and that's where it's gone wrong. With AtLA, they had 20 eps and 3 seasons to do all that and they were able to pace these things out over time, but with Korra they're doing it all in 12 episodes and I think that's why it just isn't working out as well. Relationships take time to develop and grow, and they have been shoving it on us since the beginning. It's not that I don't like the possibility of any of the relationships, but I think it has been handled more poorly than AtLA.
Yes. Everything seems thrown in for this series. I'd have rather had it twice as long as it was, and have it go slower, and maybe with less stuff happening as well. I never did get to know Asami, for one thing. How can I know what she thinks if there's no looking in her mind like several Aang episodes about Zuko? Actually, a lot of characters were like that. Especially the bad guys, who I didn't even know about until a big, 'Ah-ha! You're doing this thing!' episode. ...At least there was a flashback for Amon, even though it wasn't until the finale, and... it doesn't look like it'll make much of a difference now anyhow (avoided spoiler tag). ...I don't really care that much about romance. But it's basically the same thing. But, I do wonder what the big deal is for Mako liking both girls. I mean, he thinks Asami is beautiful, and he seemed to have a 'I have some type of feelings for Korra, but I can't figure out what' feeling during most of the series. What's he supposed to do? It's just how he feels. Katara was the same way, and no one got upset with her. Well, Aang might've, but he didn't push her about it.

...That sounds kind'a funny, but at the same time, I can kind'a see Toph doing that. "I'm the greatest Earth Bender EVER! You must rename Ba Sing Se after me!"
random thoughts about the finale:
Spoiler! :
Once or twice, I kind'a thought there was too much action happening (like, 'Planes? And firebending that can reach that far out? O_o Really?'). And I started thinking maybe Korra would re-learn the other elements 'correctly' and that would explain the 'Air' book title, but then Aang ended up coming along and fixing her. Which was probably a good thing, since now she can fix everyone else, but it makes me wonder what will happen for the next season. Since... everything seems tied up right now. I kind'a wish I knew how Amon felt at the end when on the boat. Though, I kind of wish I knew how most people felt, like Asami about her dad, and Torlock after Amon took his bending. I can't tell what happened in their thoughts, and whether or not their turn is always true. (though I did find Amon on the boat interesting. Kind of like Zhao in his last episode. Though Zhao had more reactions, but both kind of make me wonder exactly what they were thinking) And I like little Amon because he reminds me of Zuko. I think I just like little Zuko's ponytail a lot, so I like little Amon's, too. ...why's the water tribe wearing ponytails now? Katara thought they were cute, too, and decided to make them a new tradition? I liked the finale overall, though.

yeah this makes me wonder how old iroh is!!
he made an offhand comment about how his "grandfather" would be proud of Korra's actions- so he's Zuko's grandson I suppose. So maybe.... 20s?
you do realise that Dante Basco is 36 years old? 37 this august
just wondering XD
