Are you more with Nintendo or Sony?

Nintendo= DS, Gameboy, Wii
Sony= PSP, PS2, PS4

I'm more with Nintendo actaully. Just because of the characters. And just because Ace Attorney is apart of Nintendo :P

Both.

And Ace Attorney is Capcom, not Nintendo.

Does this really need it's own thread? XD
Especially considering how easily it could turn into a "console war" thread. That's something we really don't need on this forum.

I donno, it could become a nice debate on the premise of brand loyalty.

I encourage Nintendo's vision of Gaming and its industry, loved as a kid the Sony PS1/PS2 games i played with my cousin, the controls really stuck with me. These last years i've been discovering more Nintendo games, such as the 3D Zeldas, which are quite good, and the Smash Bros. games, which are also pretty cool!

What i dislike about Sony is how they try to push their games and technology showing gaming as something 'cool'... and not even 90's 'cool'. Stuff like the Testers or last year's E3 felt like they're trying too hard to impress us with their image rather than with the quality of their games.

A game console war is like a war, yeah. Really funny.

This ain't Yahoo Answers. I'm sure most of us are mature enough to respect each others' opinions to some crazy extent.

That being said, I love both companies tremendously, but if I had to choose one, I'd probably go with Nintendo, simply because they make some great games in addition to the hardware they release.

But it don't have to be a competition for me. I'd be more than satisfied if they both lasted until the end of time.

*Shrug*
I agree with you to an extent, but it just feels like there's really no other point to this thread. It feels like something that could've been asked in General Gaming instead of being it's own thread is all, haha.

*EDIT*
Spoiler! :

I don't own a Wii. I own an Xbox 360, a PS3, and primarily my gaming PC. I am not a Nintendo or Sony fan; I'm a fan of games I can enjoy and are available on what I own.

I want to own a Wii or possibly a Wii-U when it comes out. Problem is I don't have the money to even buy a cheap Wii, with my main focus on acquiring more games.

If I were to be a fan of either and were forced to choose, I'd be a Sony fan however. I never cared much for Legend of Zelda, the main series of Mario games, Kirby with the exclusion of Crystal Shards, etc. The games just didn't resonate well for me; I could enjoy the characters and stories, but the gameplay felt dull or unenjoyable. On the other hand, Sony games are primarily 3rd party, so I am provided more of a variety. Uncharted is fun, Killzone 3 is great, my numerous odd PS2 games are still fun, Dark Souls on PS3 is brilliant, and the Disgaea series is a huge deal for me.

For the record you can't really compare third party with first since Nintendo consoles have their fair share of third party stuff as well. I mean Uncharted and Killzone are first party, yeah, but Dark Souls and Disgaea don't have anymore to do with Sony than Monster Hunter Tri and Xenoblade have to do with Nintendo, haha.
Nintendo's first party titles just tend to get the most hype, and the Wii was more lacking in serious third party support than their previous consoles, which is why Nintendo is trying so hard to push for the support of other devs with the Wii U by pimping titles like Darksiders, Batman, Assassin's Creed, etc.

It really doesn't matter to me as long as the games are fun. I'd have to say I'm a fan of both since they're not mutually exclusive.

But with regards to which one I currently play more often, I play the 3DS/DS the most since there've been a lot of DS games released lately that I like, because I like portable games, and because I accidentally dropped my old PSP on the ground once or twice so it can't work without whirring noisily a ton while people stare at me in public for disturbing the silence.

I'm more a Nintendo fan, even though I played Playstation 2 games a lot. But I did play Super Nintendo, the original NES, and Nintendo 64.

But actually I like Nintendo for these wonderful Mario games. I like Playstation 2 too, but sometimes it gets boring, which makes me want to play a different console.

What of Microsoft and PC gaming not associated with the main 3? C'mon, I know it's not really very vocal on this forums but I'm sure there are people here who actually like Microsoft.

I'm more of a Nintendo fan if anything but that doesn't mean I don't like Sony, I just don't have any Sony consoles.
