HELP??? HTML INCAPABLE!

Okay, so, I have been trying for about three weeks to figure out how to create my own template for my comic I just started, BUT, as I stated, I'm incapable of understanding how to >.>
I tried looking at the smackjeeves thingy and that didn't help v.v"
I tried to even look for a simple site where I could just generate one, and that was a failure too v.v"
Please help? TT~TT"

I was looking to have something simple for buttons, but managed to mess up my layout, and struggled to fix it back... Dx
The style is kind of dark, gothic, & mysterious, so something gothic would possibly work.. I was hoping to have a mix of purple with light pinks with black D:

For the navigation buttons, I was kinda hoping for dark roses or something of the sort >.>
I'd make the images myself if needed, but I just really need help with this :<

I don't mind waiting, and there's no extreme rush, but if it could be done sooner, it'd be appreciated.

I know that this is for a comic I'm just starting, but I have intentions of having it live >.>
But, anyways...I hope this isn't too much to ask <~<''
