the wrong way.
i had the handles on my feet, and i was pulling at the middle, stretching it out like a sling-shot. a part of me even said: "this is stupid, stop it." - but it was too late. one of the handles slipped - and in a tenth of a second, hit me in the eye. i lunged forward, brought my hands to my face. my girlfriend was freaking out, so i assumed the warm liquid i was feeling was blood. the only thing i could manage to say was, "thank god it wasn't my right eye". luckily, there wasn't a drop of blood - it was just tears from the pain. after putting some ice on my eye and waiting for a while, it doesn't even look like anything happened - and my vision is perfectly fine.
holyeffingshiz i'm lucky. stupid, but lucky.

What the hell is it?

you'll see devils tearing your life away.

then the devils are really angels freeing you from the earth.

it's a big rubber band with plastic handles for cardio workouts. you're supposed to step on the middle and stretch with your arms. it's also a deadly weapon.

Hell, growing up, we used to play tug of war with those! Of course, this always devolved into a form of "chicken" where'd we just stretch it to capacity and try to be the first to let go and let the handle hit the challenger. We played a little roughly compared to other kids.

It now occurs to me, how am I not brain dead by now?

Finally got a reply about doing some freelance writing work. I finally feel like there's a good chance I could make writing my career.

AND I got a desk at last. It's not put together yet but it's in the house and ready to go up.

Insted of spending my 100 bucks on makeup, I just bought a box of Magic: The Gathering booster packs! I finally completed my custom deck and kicked my brother's ass.

Now that's well spent money.

I actually found some of my old cards last year and it made me want to buy some again. I forgot how awesome that game was!

You should go buy a deck and lets fight via videochat or something.

In order to deal with stress I've decided to try and finally teach myself how to properly Rollerblade, and so far its gone great! I didn't fall down once today, and I was able to stop without running into stuff! I'm in a much better mood now, now that I got some energy out.
