I got into Ravenclaw. Yay-ayay-yay-yay...
I was actually honest, too. The only answer I tailored was the scent one, because really, I'd be happiest sitting in my home on the beach with a wood-fire burning while reading a book.

HeartHolly7, btw. Of Ravenclaw. Oh, yes.

Got my mail earlier, finally!
Did the sorting hat let all of you choose or was it definite? Cause it let me choose between two houses. I love you, Sorting hat.

WingScale134, Ravenclaw here, for those of you with the friend-adding action going :D

Whaaaat? You got to choose? You must be special or something (kind of like how Harry kind of picked). That's neat, though, if you're tied between two houses that you get to choose your own instead of just being thrown into one.
I love you, spam bots.

That is spiffy. Hat-staller.

I wish they let you have a little more choice in your wand, though. I ended up with phoenix feather (woot) and silver lime wood. The description for the wood is okay, but it has these little sharp knobs/thorns near the grip. Between that and the fact that it's over 12 inches long, I just know I'd either hurt myself or break it. Or both.

I finally got my email earlier today, browsed it a little before I had to go off to a lecture. I'm trying to get on to the site now but its beeing overloaded which is sad because I wanna get sorted into my house dammit! So far its been pretty damn good though. I especially like the little side notes and added content.

I really hope they upgrade the servers before this goes public, because yeah--way too much time with it being overloaded.

You got phoenix feather too? I hear a lot of people are getting it.. I don't recall it being a very popular core in the books other than Harry and Voldemort's twin cores.

Edit: I just realized we still talk like we live two states away from each other. Curse you weird work hours. :C

I know. :(

But yeah, it even said in the wand lore section on Pottermore that phoenix feather was supposed to be rare and finicky. *shrug*

Edit: I haven't been able to log in at all for the past two days because, "Due to high levels of demand, we are currently restricting access to Pottermore. Please come back and try again later."
They seriously need 3-4 times the server capacity if they actually expect to handle public release, if not more.

LET'S BRING THIS BACK!

I joined up today. Went through the whole book 1 treck, got sorted expecting Ravenclaw AND THEN SLYTHERIN OUT OF NOWHERE!

I was like "THIS IS AN OUTRAGE!" but the more I thought about it...the more I realized it was actually pretty perfect. I made a giant Tumblr post about my trek through joining Pottermore. It turned into a real journey of self-discovery.

SO! What's your stupid usernames they gave you? Mine's WaveSickle28548

I'm like pretty sure this will be a fad that will pass for anyone who's not a super hardcore HP fan, and I'm not, but for the time being this is pretty neat...

I'll tell you what though? If another series comes out taking place in the same universe and has NOTHING TO DO with Harry? I will TOTALLY BE A HARDCORE FAN! Although they'll have to rename the franchise I guess...

If it ends up being like the Epilogue of the 7th book, she's got a lot fo work ahead of her. I don't think she knows how to write it.
