From City Streets, my taken-down-for-improvement first ever webcomic.
2006, page one:
Spoiler! :

Tone abuse aside, this was actually one of the better old pages, especially since you can't see how awful I was at drawing faces in this. Some of the rushed ones were truly atrocious.

2010, page one (missing narration etc.):

And from the webcomic I actually have online right now (Shut Up and Sit Down!) a character head comparison:

2005

My fine art stuff at this age wasn't bad (my realism was pretty good considering) but I had absolutely no idea what to do when drawing comics. I have a lot of experimental stuff from around 2005-2007 where I was so obviously trying to play with inventive styles but had no idea how to stylise in an aesthetically pleasing way.

2010

Very lazily coloured, but obvious improvement.

I've actually been going through this period with my other, five year old webcomic where I just want to redraw the entire thing. It's nearing 400 pages, though, so I've settled for taking the pages that make me cringe the most and redrawing them first. It was hard to narrow it down.

2005:

2010:

Which doesn't even take into consideration the hilariously revolting comic I did when I was thirteen. Like everyone else posted the dA improvement meme and so I will too:

... 2003 would be the hilariously revolting comic I did when I was thirteen. I still actually have it. It's comedy gold.

Congratulations for adapting to a tablet, me! (high-fives all around)

I refuse to dig up my old art, on the principle that afterwards I'm always too ashamed to face myself in the mirror.
Image - violence, mayhem, jerks.

I have science-themed oneshots too.

Yeah, mostly i started from 0 in May 2009, i actually moved forward and tried to fight it on my own instead of just trying to find somebody to draw it, because i believe there's no better person to illustrate an idea than the one that had it :)

Not only did my waterbender OC change in design quite a bit, but also I think I've improved a good amount.

lol I was typing a similar topic (not exactly the same as this one. It's more comic-centric) but before I go on posting I decided to use the search button...So yeah here I am being a Necrothreadmancer:

I don't have time to re-do a recent artwork but I've done quite a few unintentional 'remakes' during the course of about a year and a half.

Spoiler! :
Both attempt at comicbook style covers. First one is a 'cover-esque' attempt for a forum RP I had with my guildmates (these are the Guild Wars version of the four main characters in my webcomic). Second pic, I did a lot of work - redesigned their costumes and added two more (that's the reason you wont see more pics of the last two female characters in my gallery, I only designed them recently. lol)

Also somewhat related but I completely forgot I did this:

I actually fixed more on the last guy afterwards (fixed the eyes and the width of the neck mostly):

edit - might as well throw in these memes lol

Wow, nice improvement to you both. Erd, your May 2011 version is my favorite. It just looks 3d in a non 3d way. *fails at describing*

I forgot to add this. Same character, same costume, similar concept ... Another unintentional remake lol. Second pic was an entry I did for the Guild Wars Halloween Art contest (I won honorable mention ^^)

Don't give yourself such a hard time man... that Full Blast was probably true Full Blast at the time it was being made. That makes improving that much more amazing... You can look back and laugh at yourself or think wow... I had some great ideas back then... Let's add to it.
