Sketch Challenge

Postby SuperBiasedMan » August 4th, 2009, 8:05 pm

This is an idea I had that should be good for practice and generally interesting...

The basic idea is that you decide what the person who posted before you has to draw.
So, someone replies here telling me to draw something.
Then the next person replies telling the previous poster what to draw and so forth.
When finished I post my drawing here and if I want I can go again, or just post the drawing.

Pretty much anything goes for requests, but some basic rules are no requesting nudity or gore (unless the person posting says otherwise)
Also you can't post again you've completed your last requested drawing.
People should come up with some interesting ideas, but bear in mind someone else will be coming up with something for you afterwards...

So, to get the ball rolling, what have you got for me?

Haha, yeah I just mean playing a trick of some kind, trying to be vague...
If you want me to be even more specific I suppose throwing a snowball at someone is an obvious trick he could do...

I want SBM to draw me a pirate in the painfully awkward years of adolescence. He/she should preferably fall into a cliche high school niche (i.e. nerd, jock, goth, etc)

Hoboken should draw one of the Watchmen at the beach. If you don't know enough about them, your choice of superhero!

(Whoever sets me this task, I am perfectly fine with drawing gore, if that is your wish)

I ask Imi to draw a zombie. A lovely disgusting rotting zombie, drinking a nice relaxing cup of coffee. Points for how gross he looks.

I'm also happy to draw gore or whatever if anyone should so wish.

Ahaa, Rurik, that's awesome. That snowman's kind of adorable. Looks like he should be in a Pixar film or something. (Even if that kid totally just wet himself SENTIENT SNOWMAN AAARG)

Image

Mine is less adorable ): YOU WANTED IT, H0ly!

His mug says 'I <3 Seattle', you just...can't see all of it. I'm such a messy sketcher D: Sorry.

Nice prankster snowman and relaxing zombie :)
And where else will you hear that?

Ok, here's my pirate who's meant to be an emo but looking at it when I finished I'm not sure how obvious that was...
Image

I was going to have him listening to the start of 'This Is Hallowe'en', until I realised how sinister the first few lines would be, especially with that expression.

PS I'm going to tell a friend we annoy by calling emo this is a thing I drew of him :D

Looks emo enough to me. I can almost hear a song playing called Pirate Tears.
