Exactly! They've already talked about how they're considering FFV and VI remakes for the 3DS, why not utilize the system's power to make something closer to this?
Just look at how fucking insane Typhon looks in XIII-2. :O

I bet the FFV Atomos fight and Exdeath Finale would look downright terrifying to-scale and in graphics that nice. Not to mention God Kefka.
Now what might this be?

My guess would be just worrying that they wouldn't skyrocket to success like the later titles (*coughVIIcough*). But if they marketed them as though they were new games (not claiming them as such just the usual ads and hype like for XIII/XIII-2 most recently), and they LOOKED like new current gen games, they'd probably do great. Even though I haven't played the early ones in a long time, I can remember lots of scenes (like the ones you linked to too) that would look awesome in new graphics.

Provided they also avoided "cute" styles like IX. I think if IX had looked like VII/VIII in terms of character models, then it would have been more successful (I still hear people say they didn't play it for that reason. Wind Waker of Final Fantasy and all...)

Me and a friend of mine are reading things about the NEw Kingdom Hearts and come across an article called "Kingdom Hearts 3D doesn't need Lightning"

Now this article is full of shit. I demand to know where the hell this was with Cloud and Fuckin Zack. Wanna bitch about how 13, 13-2 and Dissdia 012 had Lightning?
Ok, then let's have a chat about how Cloud was in KH one and two, VII, A Movie, Both Dissdia's, And a Spin off OVA. With Zack being in KH:BBS. Let's have words about that.

Some people.

+ FF Tactics + Ehrgeiz + those pocket street games I can't remember the names of + apparently a figurine style cameo in FF Spirits Within + at least four cameos in series other than KH/FF...

Oh! And + being the basis (in appearance) for Lightning's design.

But in regards to the name of the article, so there ARE going to be FF characters in it? All I've been hearing is that there's the TWEWY characters and Disney and that was it.

Also he bitched about Tidus's name. I've said it before. I'll say it again:
The way his name is spelled in Japanese gives it a specific pronunciation, which is "Tee-dus." This means "sun," in order to tie him with Yuna, whose spelling/pronunciation makes her "moon." Take that away, and his name either has no meaning or has a changed meaning. Ta daaaaaaa. This was in an interview before the game was released. I specifically remember that part because I thought the name sounded weird, too, but there ya go.

Seeing Vivi taking out that nasty Black Waltz No. 3 once more? There are so many fantastic moments from the Final Fantasy series that could've been featured and revamped.

It would be slightly prettier with Sora standing nearby. That's what it would have looked like in KH1/2. Sorry, but yeah that's that. I don't really mind what they did with the FF characters because they made them part of the KH storyline by altering who they were (pretty much just AU versions), and they didn't hijack the storyline (unless you did the Cloud Vs. Sephiroth fight in 2, which is optional anyway).

Now, fighting a KH version of the Black Waltz mages with IX characters in a Disney setting, that's what you'd get. And it still seems really cool to me. XD

And the "respect" the Disney titles got? Is he kidding? It boiled down to...a video game version, sometimes stripped of a LOT of detail/dramatic moments (*coughMulancoughLionKingcough*) with Sora standing nearby.

I like KH and their Disney/Square stuff, but yeah, I'm playing these for Sora and his deal, not for the extras/characters who are only important for one level or two (which is basically what they all are at this point, at least as of BBS/358). KH started out as a sort of gimmick-y crossover game, but after playing the games...they have their own storyline, characters, and mythos. Why screw with that by making the cameos more than that?

I'm dealing with the same dilemma. D:
On one hand I keep telling myself I should just gun it through XIII and finish it before moving onto XIII-2, but on the other XIII-2 just seems sooooo much better that I don't want to wait forever to finish the first game.
Now what might this be?

If you guys are REALLY worrying about Story context then there is a Primeir on the main menu of XIII-2 that sums up each separate XIII chapter.

If it's just a Feeling then yeah burn through XIII.

Yeah, you know me. I've known since before getting XIII-2 that I can get caught up on the story no problem, it's just my annoying brain that does these things to me... I can't help but feel irked moving on without finishing the first, even though I'm constantly flip-flopping between "Must finish first game" and "Fuck it, I'm gonna play XIII-2!"

... Yes. This pleases me.
The Colosseum in FFXIII-2 is like the most fanservice-y thing SE's done since Dissidia.

I call Tidus TYE-dus as in Tidal? with his affinity to water?

I also heard a theory that if Tidus DID become the final summoning, his summon form would totally be Leviathan since none of the Aeon's are of water affiliate and he is. From what it appears, the final aeon varies amongst who becomes the host hence why Jecht's form looked like well... Jecht and a fire Lion.
If that was the case, how badass would that be omfgggggg. Tidus as Leviathan would be like my dreammm.
