For anyone who enjoys the Super Hostile series of maps, Vechs has just released another one. This one is of a different style to his conventional maps, where instead of a series of caves or a unique open land, it's pretty much a modified Minecraft continent. Also, it's different in that there are four variations of the map, each with the same features but different chest/spawner/"Victory Monument" locations.
I'll definitely be playing the map, called "
Lethamyr", when I get the chance (probably with variant C), and I encourage others to play it as well. Vechs is a great map creator, a devil in disguise, and from what I've seen from his videos and mentions from others, a great person all-round.

Oh, and related to this, I'd love to have a Skype session with about three or four people, where each of us plays different varient of the map at the same time. It would make for some fun, not just with the idea of sharing the landmarks but not the wool locations, but also just having a fun time together.
EDIT: I had a bit of a play of the map so far, going around and surveying the coast before dying in one of the dungeons, and it does look like the group variation would work... if we decide to allow starting over. The reason for this is that the map is designed to be played in Hardcore mode - one life, but shorter and potentially less dangerous dungeons. We get rewarded by experience and armour, but as I mentioned above, the chests have random loot between variations.
So... would anyone else be up for this? I'd love to take part, and if I do, I'll make sure to provide as much info as I can about what I saw in my first play of the map. I may even record my footage for YouTube, since I've been wanting to start a Minecraft LP for ages.
