Shadow of the Collosus is another one on my list... But I can't resist an epic young-boy-journeying-with/saving-a-princess adventure. <3
I'll play just about anything with a Link and Zelda-esque couple. XD

Now I can finally play the only Zelda game I have yet to lay my hands on!

Majora's Mask is one of my favorites. It's dark, suspenseful, and surprisingly scary (well, people who are all, "ALL NINTENDO MAKES R KIDDY GAMES WITH RAINBOS AND PONIES LOL" should find it surprising. Zelda fans will just be the normal kind of scared. ;) )
Seriously, that Moon freaks me out. Big time. I couldn't even look at it until I decided to grow a pair and face my fear a few months back. Now I'm enjoying one of the best games on N64! :D

I'm also working on the first NES Mega Man game on VC. Not as hard as I thought it'd be...until I got to Dr. Wily's Fortress. Cue frustrated growls and eye-twitching.

Tell me about it! I've been playing it like crazy since I bought it! I'd even consider it just as good as Oot and LttP!
One of the things I love about it is that the music, style, dark setting and plot, and the fact you are young Link the whole time, all of it makes it feel a lot more like LttP, which I love just as much as it's 64bit successor.
Also, I love how many masks you can get! XD

I tried playing Megaman, and I guiltily admit I couldn't get into it as much as the MMX series... Nor could I even get to a single boss! >.<
I've gotten to the final boss of almost every MMX game, yet the oldschool Megaman is just so... Well let's just say I admire anyone crazy enough to beat all the robot masters, let alone beat the game.
Megaman 8 was the only one of the original series I could get pretty far in. I never got past the "snowboarding" part of the final levels...

I got MM a while back for the Wii, I haven't finished it though, got stuck in the water templey-thing, you know, the one that you have to go on the turtle to get to. It is good yeah, but there's just too many little sidequests and keeping track of time is really difficult for me, I end up going back to the future every five minutes.
Plus, that moon is scary as hell.

Ah, but I actually like the three day thing for some reason. What's weird is that's what made me avoid it when I was younger, but after playing it I kinda like it. (Again, I really have no idea why. XD)

Oh, and are you aware that you can slow down the clock? Play the Song of Time backwards and it makes time go by incredibly slow.
Also, there's always walkthroughs on Gamefaqs. This one is incredibly well done. I've been using it quite a bit myself.

I've just finished the Second dungeon and getting the Gilded sword, so I haven't gotten to the Water temple yet, but I know it's up next. Can't wait to get that Zora mask. >:)

You're making me want to play that game again, its been a while xD

So weird.. because for some reason I remember playing each note of the song of time twice make it go slower?

I didn't even answer my own question

What is your favourite console? why? like? dislikes?

I hate to say it but PS2, I like my gamecube but there are way more games for the playstation, that im still playing on, but PCs are great for emulating old consoles (if it hasn't broken is is too slow)

Handhelds or Home systems?

Handheld, as a kid I've played more on the gameboe than home system, and it was miine, no sharing, and trying to get some light to see the screen was part of the fun

Gameplay or graphics?

Gameplay

Games with a storyline vs games that can be played over and over (casual)?

tough, I prefer storyline but end up playing more casual games, SF3, Geometry wars are both on a flash drive ready to play whenever I feel like it, or flash games to pass the time.

Retro or modern?

Retro, I can never get bored of them.

PC or consoles?

consoles, they bring out the best in gaming, I don't have the money to play catchup and get the best PC specs year after year

[quote]Is Onlive really the future of gaming?[/qiote]

I can see its potential, like playing any games on little laptops with little graphics power, but it will probably be a VERY expensive subscription, and buying a powerful computer would be a better option.

(Alright, let's see if I can spark up a bit of discussion here...)

I bought Red Faction: Guerrilla the other day after playing the demo... And it's awesome! =D
How awesome? Well let me start by saying I literally can't remember the last time I went out of my way to buy a Shooter Game at full price. Let alone so soon after release.
The biggest factor in this game's awesomeness is the fact that EVERYTHING is destructible in this game. Buildings, vehicles... Skulls. Your main weapon is a Sledge Hammer, and if you're anything like me you find yourself constantly tempted to use it on enemies' *ahem* heads, rather than using guns.
(And Multiplayer is fun as hell thanks to the unique backpack system.)

Also, bought Bomberman Ultra which is great, and I plan on buying Crash Commando soon, 'cuz that looks awesome as well.
(It took me like an hour just to decide between Bomberman or Crash Commando last night... @_@)

Sooo.... Yeah, I've got some great stuff to hold me over 'till BlazBlue comes out. ^^

I bought RF the day it came out, and yeah it's pretty damn awesome. The destruction is always satisfying, and that is essentially the whole game. So it's a fairly solid shooter considering it's pretty much just a big tech demo for Geomod 2.0.

However.
It feels way too short. Even though I probably sunk close to 15-20 hours into the game, it felt really, really short. Everytime I liberated a sector it felt like I had only just got there, and I was really disappointed to have to move on. I wish there were more EDF Raids and Destruction games, because those were just fantastic. I commend them on making a massive map (and I understand it had to be sparse just so that the framerate could be kept steady with all the crazy physics), but I can't help but feel it would have been a far more awesome game if they'd dropped it down to two or three sectors just chock full of stuff.
The other major thing that killed me was the fact that it promoted trying a stealth approach in some missions, but it was physically impossible. As soon as you moved into a restricted area every enemy knew where you were, and even if you killed the front guard with the 'silent' sledgehammer, every enemy in the area would still know. In the end you were always forced to just run like fuck and blow everything up anyway, which was awesome in itself, but disappointing when promised stealth.

Aside from the emptiness it really is an awesome, awesome game, and I recommend it to everyone. It doesn't have a great plot (and has, like, 6 cutscenes in the whole game), the car physics are sometimes a little wacky, the difficulty is raised soley by having more enemies thrown at you in one go and there is really not enough activities -- BUT it has amazing destruction which both looks and feels impressive and real, each sector, although similar, has it's own distinct theme (to the extent that they even have different colour filters!), and the weapons are very enjoyable. If you like blowing shit up, this entirely the game for you.

Just uh, beat another level on Knights in the Nightmare(DS). It's one of those weird gems that you can only get from a company like Atlus.

It's a tactics game. Kind of. Each 'turn' lasts 60 seconds and in that amount of time you're required to maul, maim, or kill as many enemies as possible. While this is going on, you have to kind of move your 'wisp' out of the way of attacks the enemies are spawning. The further you get in the game, the harder it gets to hit enemies, and the more of a pain in the ass it becomes to dodge things.

Really, I love the game, but I can only play a level at a time otherwise I get a brain aneurysm.

Ooh, I remember seeing a trailer for that, it looked crazy. In fact, there's a ton of DS games I still needta play...

Oh, and Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days is coming out in September...
If only any of my friends owned a DS... Kingdom Hearts with co-op sounds amazing, especially with Organization XIII members.

What is your favourite console? why? like? dislikes?
I like the Nintendo DS. The touchscreen is my favorite way to control videogames, as it feels natural to just poke at that screen.
My least favorite console would be... an old computer? I dunno. I can't pick a least favorite!

Handhelds or Home systems?
See above.

Gameplay or graphics?
Gameplay AND graphics. I won't play a game that play badly, I won't play a game that looks bad.
I guess I prefer graphics. After all, I played Final Fantasy, and its got good graphics with weak gameplay. >_>

Games with a storyline vs games that can be played over and over (casual)?
Games that can be played over and over. Long games are a large time investment, and can be rewarding occasionally. But re-playability gives a game an indefinably long lifespan, without as much investment. And many of them reward players with highscores?
...Yeah.

Retro or modern?
Modern. Some retro games have their charm, but the old old technology really gets to me. Poor sound + Poor graphics... gets under my skin it does.

PC or consoles?
Consoles.

Is Onlive really the future of gaming?
Yeah, I think so. It will defiantly play a pretty big role in the future of gaming.

Oh goody

What is your favourite console? why? like? dislikes?
Playstation Portable.
It's a sucky handheld but after hacking you can play all emulators that came before PS1 (PS1 included), also play PSP games, usually PS2 ports.
Online's not bad, when it first came out (after hacking it) I was able to do everything a computer could do (just a bit slower, I got faster over time). So it's pretty much the best system ever. If you know what to do with it.

Handhelds or Home systems?
Mmmmmmm... Handhelds. Although 360 is awesome.

Gameplay or graphics?
This is a hard one...
You need something fun that looks pretty too D: Uhhh ...Gameplay.

Games with a storyline vs games that can be played over and over (casual)?
Storyline. I don't wanna play a game over and over again. Unless it's supposed to be that way, like SSBB.

Retro or modern?
Modern. Retro gets boring fast.

PC or consoles?

PC. I wish I had a good one.

Is Online really the future of gaming?
Yup. Nintendo has to catch up.

@I-Wanna-be-a-Marysue:
Depending on which retro games you're talking about... They don't all have poor graphics and sound, it's a matter of opinion.
Some people, (like me,) much prefer 2D graphics and oldschool music to half of the modern games out there.
Oh, and... Uhh... Care to explain what's weak about Final Fantasy gameplay? 'Cuz over half the JRPG population is probably a bit perplexed by that remark. o_O

(Sorry if I'm sounding like an asshole, I really don't mind people who prefer new stuff... It's just that sort of "It's fact not opinion" attitude that gets me...)
