I'm a bit desensitized to gameplay footage for this game after playing the demo a bunch. I just want a release date. :C

Hey guys.
Guys.
Go play.
This game.
Do it.
It's good.
Spoiler! :
And Steam, you gotta stop it. I now have TF2, Tribes: Ascend and this. As well as SDGO outside of Steam, and this isn't including PS3 shooter. I CAN'T HANDLE ALL OF THIS.
I've barely managed to keep up the will power to not start playing Blacklight: Retribution and SMNC.

ApaFox wrote:Dragonball Z: Budokai 1 and 3 are getting an HD collection

I'm still trying to block this out of my memory as quickly as possible. Even setting aside the fact that I enjoy the Tenkaichi games waaay more, Budokai 1 and 3 can barely be called a collection. :C
Seriously, when I heard rumors about it I was expecting Budokai 1-3, BT1-3 and maybe even Infinite World and Super DBZ thrown in the mix. But this? This is a Collection...? 2 games out of a series of over half a dozen?

Oh, wow... that is a good game. A bit like if TF2 characters became toys and could use each others' weapons, but without the Pyro, Spy or Engineer. I'd love to play it more, but alas I am just a single red sliver in a sea full of green and yellow pillars, due to the lack of Australian servers (understandable, though; it only really just came out).

Microvolts. I played it a while before it was on Steam.

As soon as you get past level 8 and into Open, it gets INCREDIBLY FUCKING HARD. Seriously, everybody starts learning the game so well and switches weapons and jumps around like there's no fucking tomorrow. It's sort of like Gunz after a while, except a lot harder to learn how to get on their level of gameplay.

I had to cancel my subscription to Star Wars: The Old Republic because I don't have $15 a month, EA, stop taking all my money.

It's sad, though: I was almost finished with the first chapter.

Actually, you know something that's always bothered me? The original trilogy (and the prequel trilogy) take place thousands years after all of the stuff in the Old Republic, right? And they're futuristic, when compared to Earth. So why is it that when you reverse time, all the way back to the times in Star Wars: The Old Republic, there's not really a much of a difference in technology? There are still droids, still lightspeed travel, still instant healing tech. Has the march of technological change just stagnated? Had the just reached a certain point where they were no longer capable of advancing forward in scientific discoveries? There's about 4000 years between the Old Republic and the original trilogy, and almost nothing changed?

Well that was a lot of fun Rain, thanks for the recommendation. There's a LOT of things they could fix though, like the spawns are ridiculously bad in Free For All (they're kind of bad in general but I digress) and some of the hit detection could use some work. A lot of weapons are pretty OP too. Also...health packs guys? And ammo packs? Like those are kind of important, you should add those in the game. Killing enemies and getting health OR ammo is kind of interesting but I'd really prefer just going back to base or something to get resupplied.

If anyone's going to start playing, turn off "Cursor Acceleration". I don't even know why the hell they would put that in a shooting game but whatever. Turn it off, you'll thank me later. Regardless, But I enjoyed myself, I'm probably going to play mo-

Shiiiiiit. Dear lord I hated getting into Gunz's Open servers. Everyone was impossible to beat. Hell I could never even figure out how the hell they did half the jumps and moves they did to kill you super quick. I can already tell that there can be ton of exploits and ways to really fuck over your opponents, especially if you can aim your Rockets/Shotgun/Pipe Bombs/Sniper. Hm. I think I might play a little bit more but if Open gets too bad I'm probably bowing out. One of the things I love about TF2 is that it's so good at balancing so I'm not sure I'll be too happy to be glitch abused to death. Oh well, I'll see how it goes.

This game makes me sad though because you can actually see your awesome hats in this game D:

Pfft, to hell with it. I'm still gonna try to keep playing. I tend to excel at TPS games I enjoy a lot, and I haven't played Gunz since I, well... Sucked at shooters in general.
Spoiler! :
Though I'm gonna do a lot of playing on my friend's account. Switching off and whatnot. Who knows how long it'll be before I start playing a lot on my account.

Yeah...good point. I sucked pretty hard at PC shooters when I first played Gunz. After playing days and days of TF2, I think I'm doing pretty well. We'll see.

On a side note, does anyone know what the hell a full battery does? No one seems to know. :\

I think the Dark Souls thread died again.... so I won't try to necromance it.

Let me first say: Blighttown.

I think that's really all there is to say on the matter. Somehow, after many, MANY, MANY attempts, I managed to make it through the Great Hollow and emerged on Ash Lake. I got some awesome loot, including Server, a Katana, some really sweet Red Robes, and a Tin Catalyst of Banishment or something similarly named. Very cool.
Except now... I'm stuck on the beach trying to fight Hydra 2.0.... Hahahaha, WHY IS HE SO MUCH HARDER THAN THE FIRST ONE??
HE. CAN. FLY. HE CAN FLY.

Spoiler! :

Can't beat him yet. I've come close, but with only 5 Estus flasks from my bonfire every time, I can't do it yet.
Still trying.

Yeah, the community isn't very talkative, but like any MMO out there it's got a nice-looking Wiki.
I'm preeeeetty sure this page is talking about the Battery.

It's a fairly new game, though. I'm sure with time more info and guides will pop up. Until then we're best off just farming that good MP and getting swag.
Also everyone who plans on playing should post up their handles in the ID thread.

It's kinda funny, actually. I was so bored with my friend on my Computer all day that I was just playing random shit on my PS3 and Wii and played through a bit of my NG+ earlier and got to BT myself. My brain couldn't handle it, though... I finished Gaping and took a break without looking back.

Also funny is I never wound up returning to that place to fight the second Hydra... I meant to but was in such a damn hurry to reach NG+ I forgot all about it. Looks like my first encounter with the second Hydra will be when he's got buffed up second playthrough attack and HP.
It was nice knowing you guys.
