Really, It's not your opinions I hate, as much as it is the way you express them.
My biggest pet-peeve in the world are people who act as if their opinions are fact.

What is your favourite console? why? like? dislikes?
Nintendo 64, because it has all my favorite games on it. People complain about the controller a lot, but I actually think it's really good! If anything, the Gamecube controller is the crappy one.
Handhelds or Home systems?
Home consoles. Playing handheld systems while sitting at home just doesn't feel right. I believe I've had my PSP for two years now and I only have two games for it.
Gameplay or graphics?
do you really need to ask
Games with a storyline vs games that can be played over and over (casual)?
Well, Banjo Kazooie has a storyline, but I've played through it like five times. I guess the storyline games you're talking about are FPS, which I don't really like.
Retro or modern?
I'm leaning towards retro
PC or consoles?
Consoles. The only PC games I own are made by Humongous Entertainment
Is Onlive really the future of gaming?
I hope not.

lol if you think FPS are the storyline side of gaming you need to play more JRPGs.
Anyways it's always nice meeting an N64 junkie. ;3

(But the GC controller ain't bad... ;-;)

^ JRPGs! <3

What is your favourite console? why?

PS2, has most of my favorite games. Least favorite system is probably the Wii. I got it when it came out and I've only ever bought one game for it (which I didn't like!). :/

Handhelds or Home systems?

Home systems.

Gameplay or graphics?

Gameplay. But graphics are nice too.

Games with a storyline vs games that can be played over and over (casual)?

Storyline.

Retro or modern?

Depends.

PC or consoles?

Consoles usually have the RPGs, so...consoles for me.

Is Onlive really the future of gaming?

I don't think so. Online can't umbrella every genre properly, I think. Online games always have a 'type'.

For someone who sounds like a similar gamer to me, I'm surprised you hate the Wii... Then again, I'd only have a few games too, if it weren't for my lord and savior: The Virtual Console. XD

Perhaps I could make some recommendations?
SSBB
No More Heroes
Klonoa: Door to Phantomile (remake)
Mario Kart Wii
Zelda:TP

All my favorites of their respective genres. :3

SSBB is LOADS of fun. I don't own it though. I haven't heard of No More Heroes or Klonoa but I'll check them out. : D

The one game I own is Twilight Princess, haha! Midna was awesome but I just didn't get into the game. I've really wanted to like Zelda but the whole series just doesn't appeal to me. D:

What other games do you like?

oh right I didn't even think of rpgs. Probably because I never play them.

And when it comes to the GameCube controller, it just feels really unnatural in my hands. Also it's horrendous when I'm trying to play super mario world and the a button is the spin jump and aaaargh

@ThrowingCats: Have you played Zelda64? It's pretty much globally accepted as the best Zelda game. (For me it's tied with the one on SNES.)
And do you mean what other games I like in general? Or just Wii games I like?

@NachoMan: Okay yeah, the GC controller is horrible for SNES games. XD
But other than that I like it. I think the XBOX 360 controller is actually one of the worst. Not because of my dislike for 360, but the D-pad is just awful.
And you should give RPGs a try, (note: there's a bit of a difference between RPG and JRPG. ;3) they're great once you get into them.

Other games in general.

I've played Zelda: OoT, MM (I think. My cousin got OoT and another one together as a pack and I'm pretty sure the other was MM), TP andddd something else, but I can't remember what it is.

Just check out my first post to know what kinda stuff I like. :3
And yeah, I'm a huge JRPG fan.

Oh, and if they were both N64 games then yeah, the other one was MM.

Final Fantasy IX is probably my favorite JRPG ever, at least out of the old school turn-based stuff.
Kingdom Hearts I&II, Star Ocean 3, pretty much love Final Fantasy 5-10, (didn't really care for 12...)

Oh man! SO3 was like ILLEGALLY fun. Such a cool game. : D

I actually got The Last Hope the other day, but I couldn't play it. The text is SO TINY, I actually couldn't read it (what is it with small text and Xbox 360 games?). I got to the battle tut and I just said "screw this" and turned it off. :/ I heard it got some pretty bad reviews anyway, so maybe I'm not missing much.

I'm a KH and FF fan too. IX was lovely. Tactics, X and IX are probably my favorites. I agree with you on 12, haha! It was so pretty and stylish and the plot seemed absolutely awesome, but I found it soooo boooooring and I don't even know why. I remember really disliking the battle system (and most of the characters sans Balthier and Fran), too. XIII looks wonderful though.

I've been playing a lot of SMT lately, which I LOVE. I kind of auto-assume you've played them since you like JRPGs, but maybe I'm wrong! Have you?

My favorite games ever are probably the Suikodens. : D I would give my firstborn to legally marry 2 or 5.

Actually I haven't played SMT... But I've reeeaally wanted to! D:
I've just never gotten around to it. The only times I've decided to try and get one I couldn't find any copies. >_<

The only Suikoden I played was Suikoden III, and I loved it. I've always wanted to try another one of the series... I'd probably be most likely to play one with a love story involved. XD
Sounds weird I know... But a young-love romance is one of the easiest ways for me to get into a story. XD (I'm so girly... ;_;)

I agree that FFXIII looks awesome, (especially Snow Villiers,) but I'm more excited for FFVersusXIII. :3
If you haven't looked it up yet you should. It's got a completely different story and characters, (and I think both seem more interesting,) and it's supposed to have gameplay similar to Kigndom Hearts.
If that's the case, you can pretty much consider it pre-ordered by me. XD

SMT's amazing. Digital Devil Saga was great but I love the Personas. 3 and 4 are greeeeeat. : D

Suikoden 3 was cool. Chris was awesome. Most people either really love or really hate 3 because they completely changed the gameplay. Like the world map in the other games is open-ended but it was like FFT or something in 3. Wars were really different, too. I liked it fine but it's not one of my favorites.

Then IV came out, which is like...the worst thing ever. You explore the world map on boats and stuff because the game revolves around a bunch of islands, but the boat had the worst controls ever. EVER. I actually started crying once because I couldn't fucking dock it - it kept rebounding off the island and going around in circles and stuff. HORRIBLE. It's the only Suiko game I haven't beaten yet. 'Nam flashbacks!

2 and 5 are excellent. 2 is really hard to get, though. Copies usually sell for 100+ dollars. D: Mine kicked the bucket recently after almost six years of play so I guess I should start saving up!

Wow, yeah, Versus XIII looks amazing. The graphics especially. I've only seen some scattered screenshots but it looks like it'll be an incredible game.

Speaking of KH, I've still yet to beat 2. D: I got stuck in it sometime last year and haven't taken another shot at it since! It's on my Summer Schedule though so hopefully I'll get around to it soon.

Oh, you MUST beat KHII at all costs! The Final Battle is one of the most epic fights you'll ever see in a video game!

And I just looked up Suikoden V... I can tell just from a tiny bit of reading I'd love it. The main character looks awesome, and Silent Protaganist is always a plus for me. :3
Now I just hope I can find a copy... And Find time to beat it. >.<
