Hell yeah, that show was awesome and so were the little wooden train track sets you could get base on it. I was strangely obsessed with trains as a kid, so Thomas was huge for me.
So oldschool. That was when I was crazy young, probably around the same time I was big into Busytown.

I loved Wishbone, Arthur, Berenstein Bears, and Dragon Tales as a kid. What about "Reading Between the Lions?" It was like a weird Seasame Street rip off, but it was good in its own way, too.

I'm actually really, really surprised I could find a Thomas the Tank Engine wiki. Though thinking about it, I should not be. XD

I also remember liking Curious George as well~
And Arthur.
And Clifford the Big Red Dog.
And the Berenstein Bears.
And Bill Nye the Science Guy.
And Dragon Tales.
And the Magic School Bus.
and seasame street, teletubbies and barney

It's been so long since I've watched any of them though.

I've watched Arthur since it first came out. I still watch it, even after they had all those "special" episodes where all the characters were turned into minorities with diseases for one or two episodes to include every little obscure group for some reason instead of just leaving everything ambiguous so kids could interpret their own situations on to the characters however they wanted. Some of the characters' voices never changed, and some changed six or seven times.

Reading Rainbow was cool; Magic School Bus was good but could have been a lot better; Bill Nye was the fake Beekman.

But the best show was Mr. Rogers' Neighborhood. It took me forever to notice the switch he used to control Trolley. There's so much I could say.

It wasn't a kids show, but PBS also had the Red Green Show. That was pretty funny but it was never on consistently. I'm not sure what channel it was on but there was a late night (I often fell asleep while it was on) archaeology show called Terra X that I remember. The skull in the opening credits scared me but the rest of the progaram was good. A note to future television producers: if you're going to have a skull pop out of the ground have a warning before it happens.

Aw, I liked Lambchop. I have a puppet of her! :D ...Somewhere at my parents' house.

Oo, I remember Thomas! I'd forgotten the name of the show. The tiny conductor was one of the Beetles (was it Ringo? Man, I can't remember D:)

And Bill Nye! :D And Sesame Street, and Mr. Roger's Neighborhood, and Magic School Bus... I didn't realize how many of my shows as a kid were on PBS.

I don't like the cartoon Arthur. I just don't. XD My reasons aren't based on too much, but I never remember watching it too much when I was younger and, one time at the local doctors office(the waiting room is kid friendly and they play young kid channels like PBS), I saw Arthur was playing and it was... bland. Just too bland.

Also it doesn't help that my middle name is Arthur. I know it's named after a relative, but whenever I remember my middle name exists it reminds me of a young kids cartoon that I find bland, and it doesn't help me like it any more.

Oooooooor maybe it was George Carlin. (Finally figured out what everyone else was talking about--sorry, second-day-of-school-brain.) XD My mom told me it was one of the Beatles when I was little.

Ringo was the First Mr conductor, and George Carlin took over after that, and the show was called Shinging time station. I'm a thomas fan I will throw down some facts :D.

I really enjoyed a less-known one called "Seven Little Monsters"; it was on when I was in college, but it was weird enough that I really enjoyed it. Colin Machrie was in it.

And as for Magic School Bus, I'd like to point out something that I noticed as an adult; I think Miss Frizzle was a Time Lord.

I loved Sesame Street, Mr. Rogers and Reading Rainbow. PBS was different in the 80's. You guys got all the good PBS shows. :/
