I've always liked the more obscure, lesser used heroes and been mainly a DC fan. So, my top five, in no particular order:

Ragman
Simon Dark
Frankenstein (so pissed they canceled his book)
Doctor Midnight
Hourman

Just feel like there's a lot great characters out there that could be really developed and be new. The Batmans, Supermans, and Spider-mans have gotten stale to me.
