I have finally read Asterios Polyp.

Anybody interested in comics should check this out. It's a perfect display of what comics are capable of.

Right now I really want to find the Spirit books that Darwyn Cooke did two years ago.

I was looking to pick this up the other day...again. I had the chance to pick it up as soon as it came out, but decided to get it later, and instead got some weirdo piece of shit about lesbian teenagers (I mean, it's lesbians) and since then, every time I go looking for it I can never find it. And that's fully bullshit.

We really shouldn't be expecting anything that isn't bull shit from Diamond.

"Uhh, sorry we're late guys but we've got the book..." *looks in the truck* "SHIT! Okay, well, we'll get it to you next week."

Reread Amulet 2 a couple days ago. Has anyone seen those? The story is rather simple and childish, but the art and pacing is some of the best I've ever seen. The fight scenes are really cinematic and fluid. Highly recommended for study purposes if nothing else.

I'm re-reading Gold Digger by Fred Perry, Its still just as excellent as the last time I read it, but I was wondering if there was anyone on these forums who is also a fan? I would love to do chatting with you, if you are!

I finished reading Creature Tech a little while ago, working on The Living Dead right now... still on the first book, but it's on my computer so I get to take my time with it. ^-^. Love it so far. I was reading a comic a friend lent to me, but I can't remember the name as I have given it back and want to buy it. It's about a man who can tell all about food and where it's been, including human flesh, and uses it to help a special ops department solve murders and whatnot. Anyone know of it?

currently reading the warroirs series. Lemme say, I thought it'd be as stupid as fuck (please mind my horrid langauge at the moment ;-; ) but it turned out to be quite a good read. Im currently on the third book forest of secrets. Too me, it its matched up to the hype it recives. Im happy to say that I like to book very much. And since its pretty popular, you can probabaly get it at your public library : D

Sooooo good, I enjoy anything published by Fantagraphics really.

And I might one day reread/finish Box Office Poison.

Y'know... Since we have a lot of threads like this stickied in General Discussion... I've been thinking...
Maybe we should have a "Currently Reading" sticky for the Manga and Western sections?
