For me, the manga is almost always superior. The art tends more detailed, and I love inked and toned artwork to begin with. Also, the story tends not to get cut short, or dragged on in order to fit in with a limited number of episodes. Nonetheless, I try to experience both. The addition of movement, music, and good voice acting enhances the experience. Though overall, manga takes the cake.
I love anime for the life it brings to characters. Their voices, emotion, and physical motions add a lot to characters.
I also adore Manga for the artstyles, and how detailed the coloured pages tend to be. Also, similarly to the above, I love how much life they give to characters with the limitations of still imagery.
Anime because it takes less work for me to get through it and make sense of it. Paneling in most manga I checked out that didn't end up being my favorites have confused the hell out of me, despite being totally used to the whole right to left thing. Aaaand I like color... I still don't watch much anime though. I piled on like five new shows for this current season but I haven't watched any of them for weeks, I seriously doubt I'll finish all of them. Too busy with other stuff. Like making my own comic.
Finding decently subbed anime is a pain, and I hate listening to bad voice actors. I also prefer manga because I don't have the patience to watch fillers and slowly loading anime. With manga, you can just quickly flip through the pages and imagine the voices and sounds that the characters make.
