I don't hate Gays or any thing and i have a ton of gay friends but I seem to be attacked for being strait and no one seems to be willing to read my comic because of it. My best friends have started to leave me out of every thing and only one of them even talks to me anymore...I have been careful not to push my opinions on them and everything. Please don't hate strait people.

Ohhh, now I get it.

Wait, so you think you're being attacked because you're straight (a strait, by the way, is a body of water) because no one's reading your comic?

And what opinions would you be theoretically pushing on them? If you have some unsavory opinions of them, even if you don't outright say it to them all the time, people can pick up on that, believe it or not.

Sorry to divert the thread.

Wait, I am currently assuming your situation must be under some heavy context to be really what you claim it to be since that's just ridiculous. Hating because it's straight? I don't want to jump to conclusion so I may ask if there might not be another reason for people to attack you on your orientation.

They may feel let down if for example, they thought your comic had yaoi stuff in it but to go as far as to resent it because it's straight? I mean, I'd like to see that.

You think... people are hating on you because you're straight?

There are so many things wrong with that line of reasoning. There could be a multitude of reasons why your comic isn't being read. The most obvious one, is that maybe you're not advertising yourself properly. Maybe your banner doesn't pull people in. There are a billion reasons why a comic may or may not be read. There are plenty of comics with straight people, that have lots of readers. Being straight is not the issue.

*And since its bothering me... its straight. Not strait.*

My friends from highschool are gay and they won't read my comics I just told them I don't care for yaoi pairings and have been left out of things because no matter how much the try I don't care for yaoi. They shoved it down my throat any way saying I gotta watch yaoi and talk about their yaoi pairings, they refuse to accept straight pairings.

And I know my comics are sloppy and unrefined but my friends refuse to help or even give me an opinion of the story line thus far
I'm sorry if I offend anyone I really just want comic feedback...

I make a point not to put any sort of political, sexual, religious opinions in my comic. And for the record yes I know people who don't want to read my comic because it's straight...The pairings are anyway..

And I am very sorry about the my sloppy and unrefined spelling and grammer issues

I have had people walk off while I'm talking to them for being straight and they pretty much stop talking to me completely. This particular conversation was me mentioning that I'm straight 9/10 of my high school friends are gay I didn't mean anything rude in the conversation at all

I suspect that your sexual orientation is not the actual issue there. How you talk about it probably is.

To the bearded man...

They started the conversation and looked for my answer "I'm strait but I don't hate gays or anything" all parties that were in this conversation scattered. When I'm in a conversation w/ many people, like I was, I speak as humbly as I can and have tried to be considerate as I can. The lesbian coworker who did this was a friend and my gay manager has never had a problem with my opinion. I realize I may be coming off as gay people are all mean to me, and I apologize if I do, it's not what I'm meaning at all.

Based on past experiences I just ask for honest feedback and for my orientation not to be held against me as some people have. I don't even ask that anyone has to like my comic I just want people to tell me what I'm doing right and wrong with my comic..As side from my spelling and grammar..

I guess you ought to find some better friends, then. If they don't want to read your comic because it has straight pairings, whatever, good for them. But plenty of other people will.

Question- is it possible they don't want to read your comic because it's anthro, as opposed to the pairings being straight?
