The increasing alienation between the Austrian and German high commands caused some German officers to cynically state "we are shackled to a corpse."

The Austria to my Germany was empty-headed, chimp-like, incompetent, ineffectual, and indecisive, and now I'm not subject to any of those conditions. It's liberating.

New apartment! Pretty exciting, although I'm super sore from moving :(

Also I bought my brother-in-law-to-be a Master Sword replica for like 30 bucks from Amazon. He was so stoked. But the best part is that my fiancee was just as into it as we were.

I'm home from the hospital, surgery went well. Sore, but that'll happen when you've been stabbed five times in the stomach. :)

Great news! :D Some of my favorite teachers here all worked at Hallmark haha They always chastised people who were like, "But I dun wanna make greeting cards!" and would reply, "How do you know that?! YOU HAVEN'T DONE IT!" One teacher in particular would tell us a lot of funny stories about when he worked there.

Hope it works out well for you too! :D

Second look at my PC concluded that it wasn't the processor that died. It was just faulty RAM. Hell YES multi-tasking HOOOO!

so, i'm sitting in my desk chair watching TV, and playing with one of these things >>
Image
the wrong way.
i had the handles on my feet, and i was pulling at the middle, stretching it out like a sling-shot. a part of me even said: "this is stupid, stop it." - but it was too late. one of the handles slipped - and in a tenth of a second, hit me in the eye. i lunged forward, brought my hands to my face. my girlfriend was freaking out, so i assumed the warm liquid i was feeling was blood. the only thing i could manage to say was, "thank god it wasn't my right eye". luckily, there wasn't a drop of blood - it was just tears from the pain. after putting some ice on my eye and waiting for a while, it doesn't even look like anything happened - and my vision is perfectly fine.
holyeffingshiz i'm lucky. stupid, but lucky.
