And we the people are done with political ads for another 2 years until 2 year terms are up and we have to go through this on a slightly smaller scale

I kind of figured it would happen. The whole election reminded me of the 2004 election. We had an unpopular incumbent the opposition hated with the heat of a thousand suns vs a flip flopping candidate from Massachusetts that supported softer versions of everything the incumbent supported. As for Congress, we see the Republicans holding the House and the Democrats holding the Senate, so tons of money and battling over nothing. So expect a replay of 2008-2012 (read: little to nothing gets done).

Pretty cool. And yeah, I always underestimate/forget how annoying those ads and calls are until things start getting close to elections. It'll be nice not dealing with them for some time.

Looks like we have another 2000 on our hands. The candidate who won the election lost the popular vote. Hardly a mandate. Obama's a lame duck now, with a Republican house. He's not going to get any other major laws passed, I would bet. So I would call it a "Pyrrhic victory" for him.

Also, COLORADO LEGALIZED WEED! OMG YOU GUYS I AM FREAKING OUT I'M GONNA GO SMOKE A BOWL RIGHT. FREAKING. NOW! But then I won't be freaking out anymore, then I'll just be like, "woah, far out man."

I got up early to hit the polls.....I walked by at least 10 "vote for Romney" signs on my way. I live in a "battle ground" state and have been pounded relentlessly by campaign ads since July. (I almost gave up visiting Youtube). But my state went to Obama and I couldn't be more thrilled. I hope for good things this term....but I'm bummed that the House is opposite party. Will definitely make things difficult ಠ_ಠ

But I'm still watching election coverage....
and this dude Mike Murphy is making an ass out of himself...saying that there's a "Latino problem" "Latinos Latinos Latinos" O_O Does he realize he's announcing his racist behavior on national television? Holy moly. And Donald Trump is PISSED. They're showing his rage tweets on NBC...
