Most of the time I'm doing biology homework or activities, working out, or at my job, but sometimes I have downtime to knit, paint, play music, chill with friends, or write comics. I'm from the strange land of Las Vegas, though I'm heading to Savannah, Georgia at the end of the year for college.
I've been with SJ for around three years, but have only now ventured into the forums.

My name is Metal Swift--yes, that is my birth name. I'm from Birmingham, AL and I work as a computer instructor for adults and seniors.

I like reading fantasy novels, metal and hardcore punk music, Japanese pro-wrestling, drawing comics and webcomics, folklore, music (singing/yelling), video games (leaning more towards PC-based RTS and RPGs), anime, American comics, and eating. Eating is not only essential, but's awwwwwesome. I started doing webcomics earlier this year, but have been doing my own homemade comics since 3rd grade. I used to like manga, but got back into American comics because of the branching and interweaving storylines across series lacking in manga. Generally the only manga I read regularly is stuff on here and other webcomics.

My favorite comics are Usagi Yojimbo and The Amazing Spider-Man and my favorite band is Bathory. I'm enjoying the Elric Saga and wondering why I didn't read it years ago. My favorite Japanese pro-wrestling company has to be Big Japan, although the comedic DDT is a very close second.
