"10 hours"

lolwut

Two hours at most. Haha I guess I could spend more, but I never shade. I guess I should.. I mean, it goes over the course of a whole day, since I get easily distracted. But still, ten hours? Even like, five blows my mind. I guess that's why your comics are so much better than mine hehe

To do one actual comic page, I'd say 3 days. Here I thought I wasn't spending enough time on them lol.

6 hours, average. 2 to 4 drawing, 2 to 4 photoshopping - It's usually an even split.
whenever I do the background-heavy 'walking scene page', it can be anywhere between 8 and 9 hours.

Well, I could maybe sketch and ink in a day, or color a whole page on a good day (if I'm feeling extremely productive and focused), but never both. And that's extremely rare.

whatifitoldyoumygooddayswerelikeonceamonth?
so i guess its "good day".
And atleast you... color yours. mine is just. blarh inks.

We probably work at the same speed in actuality, then. LETS BE SLOW TOGETHER.

*Brofist* !!

I'm glad i'm not the only one then D;. large beautiful headshots actually take a little longer than backgrounds in some cases though. depending on the background.

Can I join the club? I might not take a week of actual drawing to do a page, but on average, with the thumbnails, the flipping tables in frustration...
(Also, pages with lots of headshots tend to take longer for me too. Smaller ones (other than the tiniest ones) aren't helpful since I still do the same level of detail ffff).
Busy, busy.

I guess six hours is about average. About two hours to pencil and ink, then four to color. I usually spread it out over the course of a few days. If I try and do too much at once, I get frustrated and bored and it takes me even longer.

We are now the league of extraordinary art Snails.
LoEAS UNITE!
My hand moves alot more freely when i do backgrounds. particularly trees, fences and texture. once the infrastructure and straightlines are put down, its not that bad.

Enough to not regret posting it and having to edit later because of me hating myself for it.

I always only make two pages scane eatch page one at a time onto paint (yes i know paint sucks don't care  ) color this erase that shrink the pages save then their ready to be uploaded onto my smack jeeves account, So not a whole lot of time maybe a few minutes probubly or more or less not shure really, If i made more pages like if i was doing a full length comic book manga or graphic novel then that would take me alot longer to fix it up then upload the pages.

*adds cat heads and shoujo bubbles. and trees*

I think the other reason why my comic pages take so long is because the chapter itself is really long. (mine range around 50-60 in the beginning) so i get kind of sluggish on the way with doubt. This may also have a huge impact D:

Ooh, I agree. I tend to feel more confident and enthusiastic if I've rewritten a chapter enough times that I feel I can't improve it, but I don't usually have time to do that. I also tend to make pretty short chapters (20-30 pages)
...my current project is 60+ pages, and I don't feel I've refined the script enough. Crap. I am going to be miserable doing this soon. I'd love to sit on the script some more, but I feel bad because the longer I take on this, the longer I have to delay Senka and BD.
