Which one do you like more: Marvel or DC?

I def dig them both a lot. I feel like I prefer the big characters of Marvel more than the big characters in DC, but I prefer a lot of the more obscure DC over the obscure Marvel.

I have always been a Batman fan... So my heart lies with DC. It breaks my heart with what they are doing to their female characters with the New 52 though... *sadface*

It depends on WHICH 52 females. They messed up pretty bad with catwoman and starfire but i will admit:
Wonderwoman, Supergirl and Batwoman are fantastic in the new 52.
And Mera in Aquaman is a real treat!

I actually wish we could see more DC movies akin to all of the Marvel ones that have been happening. All we really get nowadays is Batman, but I'd love to see a JLA live-action film as good as The Avengers.

Definitely. Other than Batman and...Green Lantern, all I ever really see from them are mediocre direct-to-DVD releases.
I'd like to see a pretty good movie with Robin or Wonderwoman, actually!

Ah, okay, rephrase, rephrase. I wouldn't say all of them are mediocre, but I wouldn't quite say all of them are awesome, either; it's probably just 'cause some of them aren't quite my cup of tea, though!

Marvel has better movies and comics but DC has better Cartoons.

There's of course exceptions to this.
Virtually anything Batman will stump anything made by Marvel for me (The 90's Animated Series, All of the Dark Knight Movies, his comics/graphic novels are amazing too....) Though Marvel movies will in general be VERY good.

Unless it's Batman, I'm going to have to go with Marvel being better though.

This, except I do read comics and I can tell you that it's a bit of a toss-up. DC has some good stuff from before and after the reboot, and Marvel has some good stuff in separate parts of their universe (and I hear the Ultimate line is getting pretty interesting).

I might actually go out and purchase a comic book (gasp) just to get the alternate covers for Spider-Men.

DC and Marvel both tend to release preview images of upcoming comics to places like Comics Alliance, Comic Vine, CBR, etc. Swing by one of those places every once in a while and you can check out soon-to-be/newly-released comics.
