Drawing Board

Blatantly advertise your comic here. One post/bump per month allowed.
Forum rules
Self-Promotion Rules

    1) You may make ONE thread per comic. Not a new thread every month, not a new thread every bump, not a new thread for each author of the comic. ONE thread. That's it.

    2) You may bump once a month. A "bump" is when you post in your own thread in order to send it to the top of the topic listings. The initial topic, updates, news, contests, and all other types of promotional information count as bumps. Also, if your comic has multiple authors, your thread is not entitled to multiple bumps (i.e. one from each author).

    3) One conversational response per day. You may make one post per day in response to new comments left by visitors to your thread. Again, if your comic has multiple authors, your thread is not entitled to multiple thread responses (i.e. one from each author). If necessary, pick a single spokesperson for your Self-Promotion thread.

Drawing Board

Well I just wanted to say that today I got the Comic Spotlight, and this makes me extremely happy. I have no idea how exactly to thank anyone involved in that, so I thought I might as well post this here and hope he/she/they see it.

As far as self-promotion goes, I do a comic called Drawing Board. It's updated 4 days a week, and it's gag-a-day. I think it's pretty good. Apparently others think so too.

That's all I suppose, so thank you.

Oh yes right. A link. Yes:

This comic is awesome. Simple, funny, and...well that's all (I DID say it was simple). Anyone who hasn't read this comic should, which is an excellent way to now point out that you haven't provided the thread with a link to your excellent comic, which is customary around these parts.

Okay, this will be today's conversational response, if I am understanding those rules in the red box there.

Thanks for the endorsement. I threw a link/banner up there in that first post. I do suppose it's pretty simple. Black and white and stick figures mostly. Though I though I did a pretty good greyscale shark today, so it's not always stick figures.

I understand completely. I too have a comic with relatively simple art, but have made an exception for when I had to have a shark in it.
