We can set a new deadline based on how much time y’all need. I’m taking a short vacation starting next Friday (the 10th), and I think I can get all mine done by then. Whatever is good for you.

So, yeah, here are some of my scenes. I’m so slow. It’s bad.
The Vivian vs. Ethan scene is coming along. I’ll post that when I get the lineart done (a day or two from now?).

Gratuitous motivational speech tyme??

Sooo we’ve already established that ALL of us are late xD If you haven’t posted because you’re not very far, well, look at my video--half of it is still in the sketch phase, and I put hours into this thing every day. I erase and delete and redo basically everything, and my computer crashes at least once every night, and sometimes I just get mad and play my N64. This dope is daunting, man. So I understand if you don’t have a lot to show for your efforts.
And if you’re just a procrastinator, I understand that too, trust me.

Another thing is quality. Stop me if I’m flattering myself, but I want to go into art for a living, so I work on this a lot. If you think your stuff isn’t good enough…well, I don’t care. I’ve seen your concept art, I know you are ALL good at drawing, and even though animation is a huge step up from that I am still genuinely excited to see what you’ve done. And, you know, maybe it DOES suck, but so what? If you stick with it, you ARE going to get way better. And once we get new animators to help us with the episodes, do you think they’ll be very good at what they do? Probably not, bros. You’ll be schooling them. You’ll be saying, “How cute, you think you can only use two frames for windswept hair. I did that once. Now I know better. DO IT OVER.”

So, I’m gonna keep doin what I can right now, and I hope you all do the same. We’ve been working really hard on this for four months now. We almost have something really concrete to show for it. Are we gonna do ourselves proud and really start the reign of Clockwork Cow Studios, or what?

You have Arthur firing the cannon incorrectly. You have him firing it like an RPG launcher. It's meant to be fired like an oversized shotgun.
I could change the design of the TC to accommodate firing like that, though. But, I thought the shape of it made it obvious. *shrug*

Well what is the point of saying "This playlist is private until you share it with this exact link" and then I use the link and then WHAT, YOUTUBE, WHAT. It's public now, or maybe YouTube lied to me, who even. Anyhow, the playlist just makes finding old videos easier IMO.

And then, dat electricity. I'll probably work off this pic [big] and Fallout videos like this one. I don't think I'll have the electricity cover the entire screen, but I'll make a blast go toward the viewer, should be pretty cool. Or maybe I'll fail horribly. Never give up.

And I hate to say this but I'm reworking my Lost Soul animation. That's one of the set backs but the good news is I just got a new computer so I'm back on track.

This anime has been a long challenge.

It started months ago. Little by little, we collaborated. Exchanged ideas. Tossed around crap. I think Shoprocks said something sig-worthy somewhere. But then things started to change. Someone shared storyboards. Someone shared animation. We started having meetings that didn't solely revolve around Batman. It was at that point that we realized this was not your typical internet collaboration. This was going to HAPPEN. A couple of us went on vacations, and the project didn't fail. No matter how slow, everyone kept working here and there. And then the animating began.

Animating is hard. Time consuming. In the depths of your computer, mediocre things like life and sleep begin to seem like theoretical concepts. Then they become theoretical concepts. As your energy wanes, your apathy grows stronger, tempting and poking you to sleep. It's grueling.

So that's why when the animating started, I knew what I had to do. I have long doubted my drawing ability. I doubted my work ethic, and my ability to deliver animation. But one thing I could not accept was seeing my comrades struggle through the toughest part of this anime with me offering speculative offerings of encouragement, and gifs of Simon Pegg clapping enthusiastically.

So I knew what I had to do. I had to animate.

It's not as good as anyone else's. It's not finished. But it's something.

And I promise to never give this project up. I will never let any of you down. I will never run around the internet without having my share done. And I will never. Ever. Desert you guys.
