I redid a panel from my comic, and I've never done this pose before, so...ehehe. ^^;;;

Soooo I like my doll people. XD lol the line work for this is old, but I altered it a bit in photoshop and colored it today.


This is actually a type of doll based on a type of vampire (folklore type).

I gots more I'm workin' on too. I just have to get my scanner back to upload them, lol.

This is the sketch of the latest page from my comic If Angels Prevailed. No one on this side of the computer screen can help, so I need a little help. Mostly in the third and fifth panels. I'm just wondering if it looks alright at ALL...also, I'm still working on a few other things, like placement of the bubble in the last panel (the person in the sixth panel isn't speaking), but I have an idea for that.

EDIT: Also whoops, slanted line up there. XD

3rd and 5th panels look fine to me. I like the dynamic approach you got here. Way better than your previous.

It's the 1st and second panel that I am having trouble connecting to the rest of the scene ^^" (well of course I am just judging this by looking at the sketch so that may not be fair at all lol)

The first? It's just the guard's rebuttal from the statement on the last page, and the second was supposed to just show he's getting closer again. I didn't know if the first panel showed enough movement by itself.

I started doing one of those things to compare something old to a redone version, and I did an old cover for something from early 2009. It's a cover for Dominion (which back then was called "Kaleidoscope").
This is the new version WIP compared to the old:

The first? It's just the guard's rebuttal from the statement on the last page, and the second was supposed to just show he's getting closer again. I didn't know if the first panel showed enough movement by itself.

ah okay I get it now lol. So the first row are actually four panels. (kinda hard to tell because it's a sketch obviously). I thought the 2nd, 3rd and 4th panels are one panel..(like someone's on the roof on both sides about to jump to the fight below).

I feel like the 2nd and 4th panel could be illustrated a little better. Maybe the 4th would be more suitable as an extreme close up of the girl's expression before she swings the scythe. But that's just me and I am no expert ^^

Oh, sorry. I should've listed the number of panels (I didn't even think about how difficult that would be to see in pencil). XD

I see what you mean on the fourth, though it's to show her changing the position of her hands on the scythe from the last page, since it was behind her. I could probably do something else with it, though, or the second one for that matter.
